Sushi Lola’s Grand Reopening after being closed for months.
Sushi Lola’s is closed for now because they are moving a few doors down to 2902 Corrine Drive, so that they will have more space. I talked to the owner’s in September and she said they were hoping to be open in six weeks, but that obviously did not happen. LOL.
I have been going to this restaurant since before they started serving sushi. The restaurant used to be called Lola’s and served various sandwiches and soups.
I thought they were good and the owner was friendly so I went there at least once a week. However, I think I was one of their only customers so she decided to add sushi to their menu. For a while, they served sushi, sandwiches, soup, etc. kind like a deli that served sushi, but I think that only confused their customers. Eventually, they dropped the deli products to concentrate on sushi. This little restaurant has some of the best sushi in Orlando. They have such a great variety of rolls and everything is always so fresh.
I’m looking forward to them reopening and having a larger restaurant.
Update 02/05/14: Sushi Lola’s Facebook page says they are having a Grand Reopening on Friday, 02/07/14
The mystery is solved! I actually headed there about a couple of weeks ago, I walked up and down the strip mall that they were located thinking, hmmm. I know its around here somewhere. When I stumbled upon the little space it once occupied I was devastated thinking that it was closed.
and what an interesting fact- they had deli stuff?
