Barber Park Fall Festival and Movie Night is Saturday, November 23 at Barber Park located in Conway on Gatlin Avenue, between Dixie Belle and Conway Road. The park has a dog park there so well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend. The movie, Disney’s Turbo, will begin at 6:15pm. and there will be a raffle beforehand for great prizes!!!
Due to the large number of needy animals in Conway, this event will provide a chance to help some of the Conway rescue organizations who work hard each day to help innocent animals. You will be able to talk with the rescuers to learn more about them and their outreach as well as see some of their wonderful dogs available for adoption. Please bring pet supplies and donations to be entered in the raffle for wonderful prizes, including tickets to Universal Studios, Solar Bears games, gift cards to Sushi House, Belle Isle Bayou, Salon JW (Susan Hardesty), JW Boutique, House of Hounds, All Creatures Grooming, Beauregard’s Grooming Salon, Campbell Travel, Salon deVille, Premier Jewelry, Tami Austin Jewelry, Harvey Baker Plumbing, AB Nails, a Blu Ray player and much more!
Suggested donations include dry dog/cat food, cat litter, Frontline or Advantage for XL dog and cats, metal training/choke collars, metal crates, dog beds, towels, thin blankets, indestructible pet toys, pet shampoo, donations towards needed supplies and medical expenses. Rescues include, Wildlife Rehab Center of Central FL , Special Dogs ResQ , CARE TNR , and Animal Advocates (All are 501c3 organizations).
