Black Bean Deli is a locally owned Cuban cafe with locations in Orlando and Winter Park. I have been going to the Black Bean Deli in Winter Park for several years, but now they have opened a second location on E. Colonial so I thought I would give it a try. Black Bean Deli has some of the best Cuban food in Orlando, but the Winter Park location is a bit small if you want to hang out with a few friends. However, the E. Colonial location has a bigger inside seating area as well as an outside seating area making it conducive to eating there rather than always getting take out.
I was there with a group of folks from #SandwichEatup who meet once a month at various sandwich shops throughout Orlando. Since this was a #SandwichEatup, I went with the Cuban sandwick. Black Bean Deli has one of the best Cuban sandwiches in Orlando. It is truly amazing, the meat is very flavorful and the bread is toasted perfectly.
They also have a nice selection of beer & wine as well as some amazing homemade desserts.
The E. Colonial restaurant has the same counter service as the Winter Park location. You walk up to the counter, place your order, and they bring it out to your table. Food was amazing, as usual, and service was good. If you are searching for good Cuban food in Orlando, Black Bean Deli should be on at the top of your shortlist and I be sure to order the Cuban sandwich.
