Ace Cafe North America! Ace Cafe Orlando! Welcome!
Ace Cafe London is the original and first of its kind, opening in London on October 21, 1938. Now this generation and group of owners and investors took 3 years to find just the right US location. After many many miles and searching, the realtor drove by this old historic building off of Livingston Street and said: This building may be available in the near future. Well, it was and the rest is now ACE CAFE HISTORY for ORLANDO.
Back in London in 1950 and 1960’s there were young British motorcyclists that were called “Rockers!”….the term was originally used as an insult but was eventually embraced by groups of young riders as well as a way of identifying themselves. Their philosophy was “Live Fast, Die Young.”, but for many regular rockers at the Ace Cafe this was not true. There was no glory to be had from dying in an accident.
Mayor Buddy Dyer and the top London dudes like Mark McKee (who bought the rights to Ace Cafe), Mark Wilsmore, (a former London policeman and now Managing Director), Bobby Palta (VP) and Eric Anderson (,VP of Merchandising and Licensing), put the pedal to the metal and got the deal done.
Time to eat, drink, be merry and rock to some great bikes and cars.
ITS A COMPLEX!!!! ITS A TOTAL COMPLEX!!! NOT JUST A BUILDING WITH SOME STUFF IN IT! THIS IS A SPRAWLING MECA OF WHAT ORLANDO NEEDS AND HAS BEEN WAITING FOR! THIS IS “OUR” DESTINATION DAYTONA ON STEROIDS!!!
Approximately 18-20 thousand sq feet of Entertainment for all YOU GEAR HEADS!!!
Even though there are some hard core Harley Folks and 1%-ers that may say: Its Euro Bikes! Come on! We are ALL BIKERS!!! So lets Just Enjoy the RIDE!!! And! Enjoy these Beautiful Classic Rockin Cars too!!!
Lets take note though too that this building was and all the land it sits on was once an Historic Site. It was The Harry P. Leu, INC….Service to Florida Industry Service and Supplies Building back in 1900-1950 Celebrating its 50th years in Business.
Its wasn’t just the bar 8 Seconds Country Bar with its Mechanical Bull Riding like I remember it! lol!
Its NOW going to be preserved as the New Ace Cafe Orlando keeping the Charm of the Old Building but just Breath in some New and Rockin Loud Life!!!
